Council 6695
Knights of Columbus Monsignor James J. Hickie Council was founded on May 10, 1975 through the efforts of 25 dedicated Catholic gentlemen and with the support of the Pastor of Saint Anne Church. The Council is named for Monsignor James J. Hickie, former pastor of Saint Anne Parish. Council 6695 works closely with the members of Saint Anne's Parish and School communities, as well as with the citizens of Bristol, TN / VA, and the residents - Catholic and non-Catholic alike - in the counties of Sullivan in TN and Washington in VA to provide support for various charitable projects and activities.

Why Participate in the Knights?
Knights of Columbus like to say their membership is its own reward. It's a way to acknowledge the fulfillment they receive from belonging to a diverse group of Catholic men whose shared principles are needed more than ever in the world today. These are the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism handed down by Father McGivney and the Order's first leaders.
